From orientation, through
graduation and beyond, our support network is always available to make
sure your child is in a good environment.
The International
Students Deans Office is proactive, offering guidance and referrals to
a wide range of academic and nonacademic student’s support services.
Student’s Counseling is
available for students at KSMU.
Adjustment to University life in a new country can present an enormous
challenge to some students. Even if a student is more at home with the
new environments, transition to the University lifestyle involves many
changes.
The Student Counseling
Services provides programs to meet with the needs of KSMU community.
This confidential and free-of-charge service is provided to students in
KSMU by counseling personnel with backgrounds in psychology, Religious
counseling…. est.
We cannot over-emphasize the benefits of taking advantage of this
valuable resource.
But advises students on USMLE and PLAB preparation, counsel’s students
in specialty and residency selection. Career Guidance encourages all
students and graduates to avail themselves of their services.
Student Organizations create opportunities for community involvement
and student representation.
University Health
Services A clinical staff of physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners
and medical assistants with offices on four campuses diagnose and treat
most common medical problems FREE OF CHARGE for students at KSMU.
Health education and self-care is provided and gynecology/family
planning and dermatology services are also available.
Students may also obtain low-cost immunizations, allergy injections,
lab tests and medications.
- Clinic Location
University health services will direct the patients to the one of the
Affiliated Hospitals in accord once with the disease or diagnosis.
- Hours of Operation
The Hospitals are open from Monday to Friday at 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with
an hour off for lunch (depending upon patient traffic). Physicians are
in attendance from 9 AM to 12 Noon and from 2:30 PM– 4:30 PM.
- Off Hours
Kursk Ambulatory services work on 24 hours during weekends and
holidays. These providers can be reached by calling the Resident
Assistant – if you are an on-campus student or off-campus Student. Tel:

Ambulatory services and all it’s treatments, vaccinations are provided
FREE OF CHARGE.
- Service Costs
University health service are FREE for KSMU students. Laboratory work
sent out, medications and vaccinations are charged from the patient at
cost.
- Health insurance
is recommended and may be purchased from the University. Contact Office of Representative
for more details.
